The vessel in numbers

Two numbers matter more than the rest. The 47-metre length with a 10.9-metre beam is what makes the boat stable enough to hold a dinner table steady in the open straits between Rinca and Komodo — a narrower hull rolls. The 6,000-litre-per-day water maker is what makes 28 guests plus crew viable for five or six nights without water discipline.

Deck plan and cabins

Four cabins sit on the upper deck, six on the lower deck. Upper-deck cabins get sea views and, in the four suites, private balconies; lower-deck cabins have porthole views and are quieter under way. Communal space is split between an indoor dining area, an alfresco lounge, a promenade deck, an aft dive deck and the Jacuzzis.

All ten cabins are air-conditioned with an en-suite bathroom. Read the table honestly: the five listed configurations add up to 26 berths, while the published maximum is 28 guests — the last two places use extra bedding. If your group is 27 or 28, confirm the sleeping plan with reservations before you commit.

2026–2027 whole-boat charter rates

These are whole-boat prices, not per person. The headline rate the operator advertises — “from USD 8,250 per night” — is the 2D1N charter for a group of 6 to 14. Note how flat the bands are: taking a 3D2N charter from 14 guests to 28 guests adds only USD 1,150 to the total, because you are paying for the vessel and crew, not for seats.

Bands are the thing to understand. A family of six pays the same USD 14,300 for a 3D2N charter as a group of fourteen. Below fourteen guests you are buying exclusivity; above fourteen you are also buying value. What the rate covers

Park tickets are the line most people underestimate, because the official tariff and the amount actually billed are two different things.

The two rows are not in conflict, and this is the single point most trip pages get wrong. Rp 250,000 is the national-park entry tariff set by regulation. The figures you see quoted by boat operators — and the Rp 600,000 or Rp 650,000 numbers circulating on comparison blogs — are bundles: park entry plus regional retribution plus ranger and trail-management charges for each specific site. The Rp 3,750,000 “conservation membership” proposed in 2022 was cancelled and is not payable.

Best for

• Multi-family groups of 12–28. Ten cabins with three triples on the lower deck absorb children and teenagers without anyone sharing a bathroom.
• Corporate and incentive groups. The 22–28 band costs only USD 1,150 more than the 6–14 band on a 3D2N charter, so a large group is unusually efficient here.
• Photography and production charters. A 47-metre hull with radar, satellite phone and a 6,000 L/day water maker supports long days off-grid.
• Not ideal for: two people who want a small boat feel. A couple can charter her, but you will be paying the 6–14 band for a vessel built for 28. For that brief, ask about the smaller VIP hulls instead.

Yes. The water maker produces 6,000 litres per day, which is what allows a 28-guest charter to run several days away from Labuan Bajo without rationing showers. Generators run at 60 KVA and 40 KVA on three-phase supply.

How fast does she sail?

Cruising speed is 5 to 10 knots. That is deliberate: the long passage from Kalong to Padar takes roughly three to four hours and is run overnight while guests sleep, so nobody spends daylight hours watching open water.

Is airport transfer included?

Yes. Airport transfer, port clearance, port fees and local retribution, guide, trip documentation, Jasa Rahardja insurance and all onboard meals are inside the charter rate. Flights, hotels, alcohol, personal insurance, extra land transport and park tickets are not.

What navigation and safety equipment is on board?
